The roller blind is made of durable, decorative fabric. It rolls on a spring-loaded shaft hidden behind an elegant aluminum fascia. This cover hides the roller neatly. You operate the ARS roller blind manually. You can stop it in three different positions using special hooks attached to the window sash.

The ARP roller blind, on the other hand, runs on side aluminium guides, which allows for smooth adjustment and stopping the blind at any height.

Will the ARS roller blind provide full blackout?

No, the ARS roller blind is designed to diffuse daylight and provide privacy, not to create darkness. It gently dims the room and protects against glare. If you need complete darkness (e.g., for a bedroom), we recommend the FAKRO ARF blackout roller blind, which has a light-blocking fabric and side rails.

Can I stop the ARS roller blind in any position?

The ARS roller blind has a simplified locking system. You can stop it in three fixed positions thanks to the hooks installed on the window sash. This is a simple and durable solution that works perfectly for basic shading needs.

How do I choose the right size for my FAKRO window?

Just like with other FAKRO accessories, you don't need to measure the glass. Simply check the nameplate located on the top right corner of the window sash. The size code (e.g., 78/98) tells you exactly which blind size to order to ensure a perfect fit.

Does the ARS roller blind protect against heat?

The ARS roller blind offers basic protection against sunlight, reducing the heating of the room to some extent. However, for effective protection against summer heat, the most efficient solution is to install an external awning blind (FAKRO AMZ) in addition to the internal roller blind. The external awning blind stops the heat before it passes through the glass.
